This houseplant, whose scientific name is Platycerium, can be found in parts of South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Guinea. It has two different types of leaves. This flowerless herb can grow on trees and rocks. It is also found in gardens, especially tropical gardens.

It’s a well-known fact that ferns have very vigorous growth. This plant, on the other hand, can grow much more than thought under favorable conditions. A mature Staghorn Fern can reach 60 cm. However, its maximum growth can be more than 1 meter. This houseplant, which can live for hundreds of years in its natural habitat, can only live for decades when grown at home.
