We all use various chairs for our home design, balcony or garden but they could become unusable in time. At this point, of course, you want to buy new chairs and get rid of the old ones. However, instead of putting them away, you can use them for different repurpose DIY projects such as turning them into planters.
For this simple DIY project, you should need a traditional or old wooden chair, chicken wire, plants, potting soils, and paints if you want. There are two different ways in which you can turn your old wooden chairs into a planter. Firstly, you can measure the size of your pot and make a hole in the seat of your chair. After this step, you can put your beautiful pot plants into this hole. Secondly, you can remove the seat of your chair, and put a chicken wire for the hole. Then, you should add some moss or small rocks in the chicken wire basket and after that, you should put your potting soil and plants.
Moreover, it is better to use preservative paints for your wooden chair planters so that they can be durable when you use them for outdoor spaces like a balcony or garden. Also, if you want, you can paint them with different colors. These easy and authentic wooden chair planter will pretty beautify your balcony, garden and indoor places as well.
