As Christmas approaches, people often strive for the most beautiful and unique Christmas decorations. There are many DIY ideas for Christmas, which make it difficult to choose. Undoubtedly, the easiest, most natural, and most decorative of these ideas is the DIY pinecone Christmas tree ornaments. The first DIY pinecone ornaments idea is about creating different Christmas animal figures. As you see in the photos below, there are different animal figure ideas made from pinecones. For creating a deer figure, you will just need a couple of small wood branches for the legs and wool thread or caddice for the antlers. As another idea, you can create a pinecone owl figure by filling pinecone with cotton balls. You can use any suitable materials for the eyes, nose, and wings of the pinecone owl figure. Also, you can create a cute turkey with the pinecones. For this, you might need a few colorful feathers for the tail.

2) Pinecone Pom Pom & Bead Ornaments

Secondly, you can decorate your pinecone with colorful pom poms, beads, or berries. For this idea, the only thing you should do is sticking the pom-poms or beads on the branches of the pinecone. Now, you can hang your colorful pinecone on your Christmas tree with a simple ribbon or you can put them on a small wood slice with hot glue as it is in the photos.

3) Pinecone Fairy, Elves & Genome

As another DIY pinecone Christmas idea, you can create beautiful garden fairies, elves, and genomes with pinecones for your Christmas decoration. As you see in the photos below, you can easily create your figure with suitable fabrics, pom-poms, and ribbon. For the wings of an angel or a fairy, you can use feathers, wired ribbon, or white paper lace.
