Recently, there have been remarkable garden accessory ideas. One of which is the vegetable stone markers idea. This decoration idea matters a lot. Because these stone markers usually are being preferred for the purpose of decoration, including early childhood education. In this article, I am going to mention the role of stones in vegetable gardening. Besides, I am also going to share how to make a vegetable stone at the end of the article. If you are ready for embarking on a little decoration odyssey, let’s get started.

Where can you use Vegetable Stone Markers?

Far from being standard balcony accessories, vegetable stones are more suitable for outdoor decoration. Also, they are herb garden markers. To illustrate, if you have got a tomato garden, a tiny tomato stone can direct you to where the tomato garden is. Indeed, it would be marvelous. Meanwhile, most pictured vegetables on stones are corns, zucchinis, beets, peas, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, and so forth.

In terms of home decoration, the more you make an assortment of vegetable stone, the more your balcony or kitchen looks awesome. Because these stones will match perfectly with plenty of drawers and shelves in the kitchen. I think they absolutely will team up with the other accessories.

Meanwhile, these colorful stones have education-oriented. You can teach the vegetables to your children by making new ones together. Therefore, you can encourage your children at an early age in that way. I mean they don’t get estranged to grow a plant when they became an adult.

Examples of Vegetable Stone Markers

1) Stone & Paint Types

There are a lot of stone types for making vegetable stones. Considering the stone types, river rock and pebblestone are more convenient. Because its outer surface must be plain and smooth. Surprisingly, if you find a stone whose shape resembles a vegetable you wanted, that will be a surreal situation and will be awesome. On the other hand, the paint type that you should use is either acrylic or guache to paint a stone. Because they are waterproof and non-soluble after having dried a while.

Let’s take a look at graffiti tags being written onto vegetable stones. I think you should prefer black graffiti tags. Because black graffiti tags on the different colored stones will draw more attention than others. On the other side, you can add emoji expressions to vegetable stones instead of black graffiti tags. I think you will evaluate old stones in a great way by turning them into new ones.

2) Do it yourself

Let’s take a look at how to make a carrot stone.

a) Tools

  • paintbrush
