Turning Light Bulb Into Minimalist Vase

What Do You Need for Minimalist Vase?

  • 1 used lightbulb
  • thread or wire (depends on your project or decoration ideas)
  • pliers and screwdriver
  • safety goggles and gloves will protect you from any injuries

These materials, all of them are required, can usually be found almost at all houses. If you do not have any of them, please procure them before you start your light bulb project. Especially, goggles and gloves are very important for your safety.

How Do You Do?

The name of this light bulb is the bayonet base. You should first pull out the small at the base of the light bulb by using the pliers. Please be careful when you are taking the base out and you should do it gently because it can be broken easily. Once you pull out the base, you can take the wire and silver soldering out with some force. Now, you can remove the black glass by using the screwdriver. Please be careful of any injuries when breaking the black glass at the base of the light bulb. This black glass can be easily broken off.

Doing all processes needs attention because holding the bulb too tight or too loose might end up breaking the light bulb. After cleaning all redundant glass, you should wash and clean the remaining part of it. Now, it is ready to plant an ornamental plant. You can use a mini funnel to pour the water into the cleaned light bulb. You can plant your colorful and decorative ornamental plant. All in all, you turned your light bulb into a decorative and minimalist vase.
